I was born it seems so long ago
So many hours, days and years
I’ve hoped that I could have a life
Lived far beyond my countless fears
I was not born to have a common life
To make it, cope and just survive
I was born for divine purpose
For all there is to be alive
For so long I lacked awareness
Of what was dictating how I’d be

In a world that threatened fearful me
For so long I was distrustful
As I tried to seek security
No matter what I did to make it

No matter what I ever figured out
At peace I’d never come to be
Who needs success with emptiness
Who needs to prove their worth
Who needs to validate themselves
Who needs to justify their birth
Who needs to live to serve their fears
Who needs a life trapped in concern
Who needs to live their life inside their head
Who needs the love that they must earn
Today is my beginning
Although it seems I’ve always been
Today I embrace my wondrous destiny
Today I am truly born again
I was born to be inspired
Inspiring all who witness me
I was born to offer to the world
Its inspired destiny
I am the essence of pure compassion
Connected to the soul of all
I feel for every single living thing
All creatures alive both great and small
I am the essence of pure peace
At peace with all that there can be
I need be nothing more than who I am
I’m at peace with my humanity
I am the essence of pure trust
My faith transcends humanity
My life is not based upon survival
I accept my destiny
I am the essence of pure relatedness
One with all humanity
One with the heart and soul of all alive
One with all divinity
The beauty and joy of life itself
Is my most cherished currency
I surrender all resistance
