So
many say life is a journey
With
destination never known
And
if you think that is confusing
Have
no fear you aren’t alone
When
you are born inside this culture
Live
a good life is what you’re told
Do
the right things and be successful
Enjoy
your life and die when old
So
many seek to be successful
But
what is it that they really mean
When
you look at their behavior
What
is there really to be seen?
A
desire to be worthy
To
be better than they are
And
in seeking to be perfect
They
are not likely to get far
Avoiding
failure may attract them
Don’t
make mistakes is what they’re told
Make
sure you know what you are doing
Work
hard and never be too bold
But
to you who make the difference
Life
is a very different game
Your
journey looks so very different
Your
journey never is the same
You
do not seek your own perfection
To
be worthy or improve
Your
own success is not your focus
Or
whether others will approve
You
need not others’ adulation
Or
great fortune and great fame
You
need not search for validation
You
care not if they know your name
But
of one thing you can be certain
Of
one thing there is no doubt
Your
life is based on divine purpose
For
you that’s all it is about
And
when you live inside that purpose
You
need be merely who you are
You
need not search the world for answers
You
need not venture very far
To
surrender to that purpose
Is
all you ever need to do?
To
be used for divine purpose
To
be the most inspired you
To
be in spirit is the essence
Not
merely what you say and do
A
life inspired will inspire
Much
more than you could ever do
The
source of all that can inspire
Resides
within your very soul
A
life inspired and inspiring
Such
a wonder to behold
Some
accept the awesome journey
For
them there is no other way
On
the path of inspiration
Purpose
fulfilled on every day
