Her voice electric in the air
Her singing brings forth passion
No emotion will she spare
You might think her motivation
Would be drawn from all these things
But nothing that I've told you
Has much to do with why she sings
She sings to comfort children
Who cry themselves to sleep
She sings to support all
Who're hardly strong enough to weep
She sings to offer friendship
To the friendless every day
She sings to give direction
To all those who've lost their way

To those who have no place to sup
