chrysalis (

) n. the transformational
stage of development between caterpillar and butterfly
The following is a statement about The
Chrysalis Experience by its discoverer, Clyde E. Gumbs:
People always ask me, “What is The
Chrysalis Experience?” There are certainly many ways to answer
that question. If I want to tell them what it involves, I can say, “The Chrysalis Experience
involves inquiry, illumination, recognition, awareness, integration and transformation. If
I want to tell them what it gives access to, I can say, “The Chrysalis Experience gives access
to inspiration, effectiveness, excellence and fulfillment.” If I want to
tell them who would be interested in it, I can say, “The Chrysalis Experience is for people
who desire to fulfill the purpose and potential of their lives. It is for people who desire to live inspired and inspiring
lives with a compelling sense of purpose and destiny.”
I view The Chrysalis Experience
as “the miraculous fulfillment of purpose and potential.” What is truly remarkable and miraculous about it is
that it simply, powerfully and effectively unleashes the miracle of everything that becomes possible through awareness
.
Customers and clients may experience The
Chrysalis Experience as a process of being asked questions, answering those questions, reviewing those
answers and considering the profound implications of what those answers demonstrate about how they are relating to people,
groups, organizations, circumstances, conditions, opportunities and being alive itself. The format for delivering The
Chrysalis Experience may vary (i.e. one-on-one, workbook combined with audio and/or video, speaking engagements
and other public appearances, workshops, seminars, retreats, articles, books, poems, etc.); however, the fundamental nature
of the experience is transformation and the methods used cause inquiry, illumination, recognition and integration.
